Development

I chose to host my music on my own site, rather than embedding an external streaming service. This was done for multiple reasons:

• To retain full control of my rights, and:
• For a more customizable audio solution.

Design

For this project, I wanted a black-and-white design. Initially, I used rounded buttons and some shadows, but this clashed with the stock photos and my own cover art style. I then settled on a flat design and subtle horizontal accent animations.

Trivia

The original 2020 version of my Op. 1 used a drum kit.
